I always get a sync error with my futurama episode about 26 seconds into teh video. When I played it in Windows Media Player it was fine. I always get the error no matter what setting I use except when I change the fps so that audio and video durations match (according to vdub, 69 fps), but then the audio and video aren't synched. How can I fix this?

Is it a VBR mp3 audio stream? Those usually cause synching problems because of the 'hacked' way they are muxed into the AVI. But apart from getting out of synch AVIs in the end, I've never had virtualdub give me an error because of that. Maybe you can try extracting the audio stream from the source avi and use that extracted file as your audio (or reencode it seperately before reattaching it). You could also try out different versions of vitualdub or modified versions such as nandub, or virtualdubmod to see if they cause this error.
