Well, the nub company has 19 branches, I guess they won't go down that easily
And they handle all the costs except for replacing the already broken ones.
So there shouldn't be a reason to be afraid of us going blank
More and more working nubs are ready, so we "just" need to get the board production company to speed up a bit.
It's a mixture of various things... desoldering the non-working nubs needs quite some time, so that slows things down.
Also, being just a small company with a tiny 4000-boards-order doesn't get you high on their priority list.
Once all those time-consuming things like replacing broken nubs and fixing broken boards have happened, production will most hopefully speed up a lot more.
I know a couple hundred boards are ready and already have nubs on. AFAIK they're on the way to Craig, but I can't say this for sure (haven't asked Craig for a tracking number).
It's funny - the hardest thing in creating a new handheld is NOT the development, but getting companies you pay for doing their job...
Well, Michael is in constant contact with them to ensure they don't stop working on it but will eventually speed up
I'll make the happiness dance once the production starts as it should (providing a steady flow of units).
I'll put this on YouTube if you want
