Reddit is talking about the Pandora... They seem to not like it very much

I don't know. There's the standard "you can do this on your phone" stuff, which totally misses the point, but most of the rest of the criticism - slow to deliver, poor Q &A, "obsolete" hardware, high price - is fairly valid.

Still, I wouldn't worry about it. They're not saying anything new, and there's still a few there saying "do want". For various reasons the Pandora - not to mention the Linux OS it natively uses - is not for everyone.

Pandora once made it to reddits front page couple years back, so it can't be all that bad

Awwwwwwwwwwww. I wanted to read what Link posted :(

I feel bad because it seems a lot of people are jumping on the poor customer support bandwagon there. I guess the public doesn't really know the reason behind the delays. I really feel Circuit Co should have to pay some money to OP as this is almost entirely Circuit Co's fault. OP has some of the best support I've seen in a tech company.

There is a lot of misinformation being spread around in there, OP should do some an AMA (ask me anything) & advertising on reddit that just points to the forums. Sure there would be an influx of new users which would crowd the boards. However, I think that we could do a better job of answering questions here and setting the facts straight.

Sometimes I hate reddit. My post had 5 upvotes awhile ago, now it has just 2, so sometime in the last few hours 3 people decided I needed a downvote and I'll never know why.

Unfortunately, this is the natural result of people having difficulties getting responses, refunds, and so on, over a long period of time, and not receiving newsletter updates, to boot.

I'm not saying that it's the team's fault, of course, but you have to bear in mind that most buyers of anything - even of niche devices - are not necessarily going to be active in the community (or communities) for them, and won't be hanging on every word that they see about the product as the enthusiast crowd is likely to.

The result of that, of course, is that most folks won't know and won't care about who had what difficulties with what companies - their contract is with the vendor, and if their experience has been poor, then they're naturally going to say so, and they aren't going to care that CircuitCo., or anyone else, caused issues. The fact is, they didn't buy from CircuitCo..

Craig's shop was MIA roughly around a year ago, I remember the daily threads of people not getting their refunds, so a lot of this probably comes from that time..

I went through the thread and hardly surprised to see the responses posted. Most of redditors are ugly morons who came from 4chan. Nobody cares about what they think.
