Has anyone else had an issue where the touch screen stops being detected yet?

Pretty sure mine failed within the first few months. I used it one day, and the next it was no longer detected.

I reset everything (both hardware wise and software) and the touch screen hasn't been detected since.

Just hoping someone may have found an answer to that issue by now.

I assume either the connector failed, or somehow the ribbion cable moved out of socket and somehow borked itself.

Thanks to any help!

I don't really need the touch screen to work, but the resistive touch screen with built in stylus was huge for me.

I've had mine since March 7, 2023, and it's bounced around in my backpack coming with my everywhere I go. So far, I've had no trouble with the touchscreen. Hopefully you find a way to fix it!

Have you tried flashing the bookworm image to an SD card, booting from the left SD slot, and seeing if it's any different?

The touchscreen is connected via a small 4-pin connector in the lid. You could open that (you only need to open the three screws in the lid) and see if this came off.
