The Icontrolpad and Wizley Presto (ipod game Craigix and a couple of others were making) are two projects which never seem to get any updates but I'm still very interested to see how they turned out. The last I heard of the Icontrol pad was January and then news about it seemed to disapear. As for Wizley Presto, it was suppose to be a 30 day game but as you can see its taken longer. There hasn't been any updates on the site for a while and I know they were trying to get approval but this was ages ago. So does anybody have any information on the status of these projects or if they have been cancelled?

Icontrolpad is still being worked on AFAIAA, it's most likely being delayed by Pandora-related stuff.

This page may interest you. I do know that Wizzley is still being worked on (last I heard the graphics were holding it up but I am unsure whether this is still the main cause).
Cool, looks awesome from the screenshot provided.

Although the game was widely and enthusiastically blogged about (e.g. at http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/Wizzley+Presto/news.asp?c=12700 the title of the post is "OpenPandora team to make iPhone game in 30 days" with a sbutitle of "Dizzy clone to go from concept to App Store in one month") there has been no visible movement for some time, and the actual http://www.30daygame.com/ site has stopped taking commentsm holding them "for moderation".

for example, my comment:

From:
http://www.apple.com/hotnews/apple-answers-fcc-questions/

95% of applications are approved within 14 days of their submission.

There are more than 40 full-time trained reviewers, and at least two different reviewers study each application so that the review process is applied uniformly.

Apple generally spends most of the review period making sure that the applications function properly, and working with developers to fix quality issues and software bugs in applications. We receive about 8,500 new applications and updates every week, and roughly 20% of them are not approved as originally submitted. In little more than a year, we have reviewed more than 200,000 applications and updates.

has been "awaiting moderation" since October 5, 2009 at 9:50 am (according to the site).

It doesn't seem to bode very well to me, and there's no clear indication of what the problem/holdup is.

They are both being worked on, and you will see some of both this month.

But the Pandora always takes precedence over them when required.
