Port Requests

There is Parallel Universe though. Its not strict Priv canon like GG is. It adds more to the original privateer such as AI controlled turrets and more ships you can buy. You can also check out Vega Strike which is the engine that Gemini Gold is based on.
Oh..unfortunaly it is based on VegaStrike.
Thank you for that Information..i saw that not on the Main Sites :(:$

another one, old DOS RPG Amulets and Amor it seems was released 2013 as GPLv3 on Github.

This fork is in progress for SDL2 and macOS. https://github.com/emrecelikten/AmuletsArmor
[doublepost=1486586635,1486581589][/doublepost]the FPS creator was released 2016 open source (couldn't find license)

a list of games which use the engine is here: http://forumfiles.thegamecreators.com/thread/202320

So, I compiled Tread Marks. It "runs" but only show some blackscreen (but I hear the music). I think the issue is because it use Qt5 for the GUI. But default Qt5 is using GLES2, where gl4es (needed for the game), use GLES1.1... I'll try to finish that Qt5 build on OpenGL (it was on hold bacause some functions where missing in gl4es, but I have added them for some time now, so I hope Qt5 will just build with no issue) and see if it's helps (not before tomorrow anyway).

This Tank Game look nice on the Youtubevideos..but difficult to control the Tank :)

I found another one 3D Game here:

tank multiplayer game Tread Marks became open source (GPLv3) and freeware on github (https://github.com/LongbowGames/TreadMarks ).
(package here http://www.longbowgames.com/downloads/Tread Marks Install.exe )

OpenGL based, notable for deformable terrain, and "almost MacOS/Linux ready".
I bought Tread Marks back then and it's a really fun game, kind of Mario Kart with tanks, big weapons (including cruise missiles and nukes) and completely destructible environment.
Great to see that it is open source now and I'm hoping for an Ubuntu/Mint package of it. :)

Torgue3D is the engine that is also used for Age of Decadence, so there is a chance for a Linux port, YES!

Mmmm, that Tread Marks game, is there an existing linux version somewhere?
Because there is *MANY* issues with file name not beeing reconised on Linux File System.
I have been able to have something on screen by copiying all the data on a Fat32 partition... But that's not a proper solution.

And, I cannot get ingame anyway. It propose me some tutorials, but then the mouse cursor desapear (but the mouse is still active, touchscreen works...) and I see no way, no button to go past the explanaition screen :(...

Mmmm, that Tread Marks game, is there an existing linux version somewhere?

No, as far is I understood it is currently in the process of being ported, not quite there...

Rick Yorgason/Skrapion of Longbowgames "The updates in this version are mostly aimed at getting it working on Mac and Linux, which is a side project I've been toying with every now and then for the last several years. It's very nearly there. It compiled on both platforms, but there's some bugs that need to be sorted out. So if you're interested, go ahead and download the source, take a look at the BUILD.txt file, and see if you can help."

Get in contact with him, I guess he will be pleased someone took up the source code! :)

Don't worry @shaddim : I look at that page frequently.

@ingoreis : I looked a corebreach a long time ago, and it needs shaders. I haven't investigates much on how difficult it would be to port it (plus it's full of Objective C IIRC)

oh i understand..."shaders" are ever a bad Word on the Pandora,right?
Was just an Idea..
..btw..
..i try now to port the newes Zelda Solarus Game named "Zelda-The Book of Mudora" :)

Help,what does that mean?

probably you forgot to copy the libs inside codeblocks into your pnd.
They are newer than that installed on Pandora's Nand so it need to be copied into every pnd.
Hint : use copy_libs.sh script inside codeblocks cli.
go to dir of your compiled game where you create a pnd of it.
type
mkdir lib
cd lib
and then type
copy_libs.sh ../XXXX (where XXXX is the name of the executable)

Hi all :)

I'm trying to compile Powder 118 beta 3 on the Pandora.

http://zincland.com/powder/

So far, compilation fails with the following error message:
../../glbdef.cpp:23:1: error: narrowing conversion of '\37777777607' from char to u8 {aka unsigned char} inside { } [-Wnarrowing]
};

I guess this has something to do with one of the default CFLAGS in @ptitSeb 's Code::Blocks ... (-fsigned-char ?)

Any suggestions ?

Cheers, Magic Sam
[doublepost=1486907434,1486907124][/doublepost]Maybe -Wno-narrowing would help... I'm going to try this right now :)

Cheers, Magic Sam
[doublepost=1486910182][/doublepost]-Wno-narrowing did the trick :) I'll package Powder 118 beta 3 ASAP !!!

Cheers, Magic Sam
[doublepost=1486914396][/doublepost]Hi again,

Cheers, Magic Sam

Ah, some new idTech3 engine to port?! Nice find, as this time, it looks like it's really the SinglePlayer sources... I'll check that.

*EDIT* checked: it's not really 100% of the single player game. But part of the code. The main executable is not there. The renderer is not there. The map loader is not there. Without that map loader, I'm not sure it's usable to rebuild a complete version :(
