There are lots of games which use the analogue shoulderbuttons, especially games where you handle something that moves (cars, bikes, airplanes). Anyone got an idea how to emulate it? I can't come up with a decent idea, the only analogue inputs are the sticks which can't really be used to replace the shoulderbuttons.'Pleng' said:Pandora's hardware devs
Are the pins which connect L1 and L2 capable of sending analogue signals, if an appropriate mod was devised? If not would it be somehow possible to hack something up by using, for example, L1 and L2 shoulder pad connectors to connect a single device?
It would be possible to emulate the shoulder buttons on the second analogue pad.
Center means no button being pressed. Up for left button and Right for Right button, as an example. It would work for games which needed the use of analogue triggers but no use of the face buttons. It would feel pretty odd though. If dreamcast emulation gets anywhere near fullspead with Daytona or Sega Rally I will definitely be attempting to create some kind of analogue trigger-mod for my Pandora!
