'Bochs is a highly portable open source IA-32 (x86) PC emulator written in C++, that runs on most popular platforms' I found this program and thought it looked pretty good, its open source and located on sourceforge. Would it be possible to port it onto the GP32?

Bochs Emulates A PC, Basically this means you can run an OS on it. Now before you all start getting excited lol! It would obviously not be possible to run Windows on a GP32. However, I have come across 2 very good but Small Linux Distributions, the first one is called DamnSmall Linux (http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/) and its a 50mb distribution of linux which includes a lite windows manager and some cool software. Another is Peanut Linux which is a bit more advanced and more like other linux's, it comes with KDE although i dont know the Exact Size.

There are a whole load of mini Linux distributions which can be found here :

I think if somebody was able to port Bochs onto the GP32, the GP32 would not only be a super emulating machine, but also a PDA too.

Bochs Source Code : http://bochs.sourceforge.net/cvs-snapshot/...20040417.tar.gz

Thanks,

It would be much too slow. Especially in pure C/++. People are trying to port Linux, which would be much faster nativley.
