Passed the certification!

Sorry to go off-topic on the "SD card thread", and I'm sure it's been a meme somewhere/everywhere on the forums here before, but I just saw a mailbag and just had to share...

Apparently Dave Jones has a fetish for the Pandora nubs. Wonder what he'll be thinking of the Pyra's nubs!

Skip to 35:05 for Pandora porn...

Still waiting for more Pyra videos, by the way! ;-)

About uSD cards....(much more at armbian).. is this a camera?
Cameras read/write large sequential files, SBC or pyra do not
Irregardless of the speed, nearly all SD cards are CRAP when writing 4K/16K blocks
Some (very few) are less crappy. So,, first thing h2test or f3 to avoid fakes,,
then iozone to see if the card is (barely) acceptable
(search armbian and iozone for the correct switches,, hell, from my history,,
iozone -e -I -a -s 100M -r 4k -r 16k -r 512k -r 1024k -r 16384k -i 0 -i 1 -i 2)
You will be shocked
Edit: there is a new standard,,A1,, this addresses this issue, most A1 cards
will be as OK as uSD can be (which is not all that good)

Thanks for the info. I did not know the new standard yet.
Good to know.
For internal use I'll only buy A2 cards then.

I have absolutely no problem with the software not being ready. As long as all the hardware is good, I'd like to have mine, so I can develop for it and maybe even help getting the software to a runnable state :)

I'm working on a burn-in test now (they need to be able to run without any crashes for 5 hours at least)... well, and that should be it.
It would mean we could place the order... and wait for everything to arrive so that the mass production can finally happen.
...
The burn-in-test will be the final thing... after that, everything has been ordered and then it's just a matter of time until mass production starts.

Are there any updates on the burn-in process?

I'm curious - how many assembled Pyras currently exist? (Regardless of version or functionality)

But... if you crack open ED, then he won't be able to forfill his desteny (and our wishes)

...
New.NO! KEEP UNDER CONTROL.....Newwwssssss....\o/:confused:
