Not really, considering it's basically Craig's baby
Fair enough, apologies, I thought more people were involved.Squidge said:Not really, considering it's basically Craig's baby
oh hell, I mis-spelt the article nameBilly Lee said:There's an 'i' missing in the link, otherwise it's called the Craginator.
Squidge said:The problem I see with that is you would need some high-current switch, and when you switch between one battery and the other, you would have to take the power to control that switch from somewhere, and you can't take it from the currently switched in battery, as the power would die momentarily whilst the switching was in progress. The same would happen with a manual switch - at some part, the contacts will be touching nothing just before connecting with the second battery.atomicthumbs said:What I meant was a switchover thing - when one battery became almost too depleted to power the system, it would switch to the other, and you could charge the first or slot in a new one.
Is it that troublesome to just save your work when the battery light comes on and swap the battery then?
And the scary thing is, he's rightExophase said:Trust me, it's that simple.
What about some sort of small separate battery that could run the switch?

Of the wikified information page.
Please note that this page is NOT for discussion of the Craginator. It is for info and specifications about the console ONLY.
Feel free to add or change anything that's wrong, but base it on FACT that has been stated by one of the "in-the-know" people.

Excellent!
As a nice side-effect, the codename is now Craiginator, as far as the community is concerned.
Wasn't it already?
Craiginator was just a name I added to a comparison table about a thousand post ago because people were stupidly calling it GP3X and causing a lot of confusion.
Actually I coined the name Way back in the other topic as well IIRC. Just thought I would get that out there. It's awesome that my codename has propagated exponentially thus far
I thought it was Squidge who first mentioned that name... o_ôsam fisher said:*quotes snipped*

It should be quoted more like my above quote, right? ;PSquidge said:Well, it seems that some people don't know how to quote properly. Two massive quotes followed by 2 lines of text should result in a InstaBan in my opinion
You're just looking for an excuse to ban sam fisher.Squidge said:Well, it seems that some people don't know how to quote properly. Two massive quotes followed by 2 lines of text should result in a InstaBan in my opinion

I didn't refer to anything when I added it in the previous thread August 10. Actually, I used the term Cragiator.sam fisher said:Actually I coined the name Way back in the other topic as well IIRC. So you added an 'n' in the middle four days later? Congratulations. Very creative. I wonder where you got your inspiration for the codename.

Do I detect sarcasm/cynicism?
I jst used it because it's the name that people seem to be using the most.
