Release Otter browser

Fusion_Power: There's no "Fit to Width" option available (yet).
 Ouch.  :(

It's basicly the main reason why I still stick to Opera 12 on my PC, the new "Chromera" also doesn't have this option anymore and Firefox never had. I recently learned that these engines are not even able to do this nice site-re-formatting to fit the width to the screen. That's why many people do not even have an Idea how powerful this function actualy is. You can zoom your site (and so the text) as big as you want and the site stil ldoes fit in the screen, no horizontal scrolling is needed. :)

I really miss that on the Pandora for obvious reasons.
How about this?

Works fine in Palemoon on my Notebook, zoomed to 300% with fit-to-width (Enabled with a right click on the 300%-zoom-notation in the top right corner)

@Zero3K: use spoiler tags.

I guess your are using a Gigahertz with 4.10 SGX driver. QT is not compatible with those driver, so it revert back to software rendring (but it still works). Go back to 4.03.00.2 driver and it should work with no error.

About flash, I tried (and the flash lib is included), but I cannot get it to work (yet?).
1. Ok. I will do that.

2. Did you try asking for help with getting it to work from someone in its IRC channel?
Nope, but you can and report here the results.
Maybe you placed it in the wrong directory?

Looks promising, will test it. :) . I already tested various Firefox addons that have advanced zooming functions but so far none worked like the "fit-to-width". Some just zoom out so the page fits, which leads to tiny fonts, some just zoom in and you still have to scroll horizontal, some have only a fixed zoom level that you can't change on the fly. From the picture, that one there looks like it really fit the width to the screen, no matter how big the font is. And it only seems to resize the images which is fine. I wonder if it works with changing zoom level on the fly. :)

Such a plugin should be recommended for small screens, it may be a good addition to the Pandora Browser experience. ^^

Was trying to invert the colors so I get black background and white Letters.

Palemoon has an extention for themes.

In Otter Browser if I go to "Tools > Preferences > Content" I have a menu to adjust the Background, Letters and Link colors.

When I det a different color it doesn't seem to do anything.

Is that feature working on Pandora?

Also do I have some spell checking function?

Else I'm typing some strange words ;) .

EDIT:

I found a website where the changed colours had an effect on the letters.

So it seems to work but not have any effect on most websites.

Especially background settings.

I just downloaded all my updates last night, but I will be getting this the next time I use my Pandora.

I may have to try and use this. Quipzilla stopped working on my pandora for some reason as the program boots up and then instantly disappears.

Using firefox is super slow for where I am.

Both otter browser & Firefox crash regularly on CNN.com

I've been using Arora on my rebirth. I've tried some of the other browsers, including Otter, but out of all of them, Arora seemed to be the most responsive before, during, and after loading a page. The number one reason to have a browser is the ability to browse the web, and if it's more frustrating fighting with the Ui or the responsiveness of it, then it's a major downer. Otter worked pretty well, but it just wasn't as responsive. Firefox in general has always been pretty decent but as of late, has gotten more and more sluggish. I wish Chromium on the Pandora was more lightweight and bug-free. It seems to be one of the least functional browsers I've tried as of late, not that I'm harshing on anyone who's been working on it, but when it comes down to it, I'm going to go with the browser that seems to work the best.

Use Pale Moon, it's Firefox without all the slow stuff.
Currently downloading Otter PND onto my pandora, but will also download palemoon as well. Maybe Arora too.
