Here are some missing features, that didn't make it into the compo version becausee of too little time:
- Storymode
- Bossfights
- More animations
- More sound effects
- More backgroundmusic tracks
- More levelscreens
- More invadertypes
- More guns
- More powerups and different shieldtypes
- Different types of enemy shots
- Enemies have different amount of healtpoints
- Tutorial levels
If you have further suggestions, let us know

While everybody else is still arguing about opensource or not, Zip and I are starting to work on an entry for the competition.
As Zip has no problems with releasing his code as OpenSource and I don't mind to release the artwork as royalty free, we want to be a bit more open about the progress than linuxswat
For today, here is a little mockup for the titlescreen.
I know, some people see it as bad practice to start gamedevelopement with a titlescreen, but there already is more under the hood
Feel free to follow this thread as we go along and comment if you already think you know what this game will be about.
Let's see if you can figure it out.
