tryed every option nubs still wont work
wierd when touching the nubs in any direction in mugen64 ican cause the game frame rate to slow up a bit when i release it game returns to normal speed
im gonna keep trying thanksTake the battery out, leave the Pandora alone for 20 minutes. Put the battery in, plug in the power, turn on the Pandora (in that order). Reset the nubs by standard method.

Ah, the nubs are sending data, but - most likely - they are in the wrong mode for the game. Try vigorously switching back and forth between modes, after you've given your Pandora (and nubs) a chill-out period, battery-less, for about 20 minutes.
Also, just try to get them working again as mouse after boot-up. Don't give up on the nubs, is what I'm saying - I too, occasionally have 'oh shit the nubs dont work' moments, hacking around and switching between things, but a serious reboot seems to take care of it, generally. Anyway, I've had your problem a couple times and simply DOS'ed the problem.
