nubs not working at all

It would be useful if you could tell us exactly what you have tried, please, in order to prevent people from running around trying to re-invent the wheel in assisting you. ;) "Every option" really isn't informative.

Have you tried the "Reset Nubs" option located in Pandora-menu -> Settings -> Nubs, for example? And what does the input tester (run op_test_inputs from a Terminal window) tell you? Would I be correct to assume that you've tried these?

I read while the Pandora is booting to move the nubs around a lot.

Before the desktop appears.

yes tried the nubs reset the last thing i remember is trying to get uae4all and uae4allnubs to work got tired of it went back to mugen64 no nub response

wierd when touching the nubs in any direction in mugen64 ican cause the game frame rate to slow up a bit when i release it game returns to normal speed

Take the battery out, leave the Pandora alone for 20 minutes. Put the battery in, plug in the power, turn on the Pandora (in that order). Reset the nubs by standard method.

Ah, the nubs are sending data, but - most likely - they are in the wrong mode for the game. Try vigorously switching back and forth between modes, after you've given your Pandora (and nubs) a chill-out period, battery-less, for about 20 minutes.

Also, just try to get them working again as mouse after boot-up. Don't give up on the nubs, is what I'm saying - I too, occasionally have 'oh shit the nubs dont work' moments, hacking around and switching between things, but a serious reboot seems to take care of it, generally. Anyway, I've had your problem a couple times and simply DOS'ed the problem. :)
