NightKnight is very busy :) Here is another release with updated version of NeoGeoCD / SNES / NES emulators.

- 2005.12.03
modified button mapping from console pad style in All.
added OpenSnes9x asm core in SnesGP2X(experimental, no sound). (asm core is Type 1, snes9x core is Type 2)

News source: GP2Mania.com

New button config for NeoGeoCD

GP2X X = NEOGEO A
GP2X B = NEOGEO B
GP2X A = NEOGEO C
GP2X Y = NEOGEO D

Snes can be played with or without sound depending on which way you launch the game rom.

Load game rom with A button = Sound & slow

Load game rom with B button = No Sound & fast

Sound is there if you want it, or you can have smooth gameplay with no sound. :D

the snes emu seems to be crashing a fai bit.

Did you delete the old snesgp2x config file from out of the save games folder, it cleared up the crashes I was experiencing. It writes a new config file if one is not present.

I'm perfectly happy with no sound when most games go from <5fps upto 20-25fps. Just need mario kart to work now!

Ouch!! MarioKart is 5-6 fps with or without sound, I see what you mean.

This needs some way to exit or change carts, sucks rebooting every time you need to change carts on the NES emulator.

the neo geo cd emulator crashes in the Now Loading SNES screen... should i put it in separate folder (like it was before)?

heh..

Taken from the changelog above.

Push + R : Exit (Return to file explorer)

What it means is, push the joystick action button and press right shoulder to go back to file browser. You can do this in all of NK's emulators. :D

heh..

I keep all three emulators separate from one another. That way I can enjoy all three versions of my skins without having to do any switching.

yeah it's about 85-100% speed in rock n roll racing, tiny toons adventure and parodius. Pilot wings is about 60% though.

The reliability isn't perfect though, I got 2 crashes when playing each of those games for about 5 mins each.

If this keeps going like this, by the end of the weekend we'll have full speed on all emus, with sound. :D
