Ahhh. Metal Slug has some frameskipping problems, no lag, but its great to play it.
IMHO, it's just about right on. I played a lot of the Saturn version which was slightly better, but the NG version was laggy as hell. Maybe something can be done to improve that in the emulator, but I don't think it's going to get much better.starpause posted on Dec 4 2005 at 11:39 AM said:dear lord at i just got Twinkle Star Sprites working in nk's neo geo cd emu ...
this has always been one of my favorite games! h34r:
i'm not playing with sound but it's hard to say if this game is running "full speed" or not, because afaik TSS also made the original neo geo slow down!!! but it feels a but sluggish/skippy.
still, unbelievable ... to have this game in the palm of my hand

This emulator DOES NOT play NEO GEO CART or MVS CART game roms.
It DOES NOT.
You need NEO GEO CD roms to make it work.
Thank you.

which game did you test?x68000 posted on Dec 5 2005 at 12:17 AM said:just benchmarked snes emulation on my o/c gp32 running @200Mhz with sound, and it runs considerably better than the equivelant emu on gp2x without sound.
I'm sure this will change very soon though, but in the meantime, I'm jacking my gp32 back upto 242Mhz for a solid 90 minutes playtime before the batteries run out!
