Re: Windwaker. I think most people do find it boring (especially the sea-faring bits) , but I loved every second of it. It really is all about exploration and seeking out everything and is very rewarding if you enjoy that (I do in all the Zelda games - catching every bug, finding every heart-piece etc.) I do understand why people weren't particularly happy about that though. However, much as I love WindWaker, I won't pay full price for what appears to be exactly the same game. The graphics don't look that much improved (hell, they were gorgeous originally - you can't really top perfection). Unless this has extra stages, dungeons or areas to explore then I'll pass - I've seen EVERYTHING the original game had to offer and I can revisit the GC version anytime. I'm a Zelda fan, not a mug.
Re: Smash Bros. I'm not a fan either, but my son loves it. I will say that it does look absolutely fantastic though - both on WiiU and 3DS.
Miyamoto's video on Pikmin 3 was lovely, and certainly didn't lower my expectations of the game I've been waiting 10years for... I've mentioned my Pikmin love before. And I'm sure I'll mention it again in the future
So, as a WiiU and a 3DS owner, I am disappointed, but there are some gems on the way. Trouble is, are there too few and will they arrive too late?
And what happened to Yoshi's Yarn? No mention anywhere that I've seen so far.
