Version 1.4 of the NesterGPd.
Including the function QuickSave and QuickLoad. During the game press R key to keep the game without having to leave the game. The recording only takes tenth of second. In order to recover the game you must press L key.

Note: In the SaveState menu Slot 0 happens to be restricted for QuickSave. Even so in the LoadState menu you will be able to load all the Slots manually (from the 0 to the 9)

Good news, what is the difference between this and LJGP.. or are they both near the same in number of features etc?

I think runs some stuff that LJGP doesn't, but it is slower.

More compatibility then LJ, and faster. But the music is too fast. And it is lacking in the menu options category (show FPS, frameskip, cpu speed, etc). In my opinion it could be perfect with the music slowed down to normal and some more menu options. :)

Edit: I'm not complaining, its a great emulator. I'm playing it right now! :D

This is a great emu, though it runs a bit fast in some games (as does the music) at a higher fs than little john. I'd really hope you continue with this; it has a great "feel" to it and the quicksave function is awsome.

Great job, and thank you

@ bast- nester plays faster, though at a higher frameskip (I would venture to say that it plays too fast, though this could just be my being used to lj), thouhg little john is smoother

Faster but a higher FS means that it would run slower at the same FS. So the emulation is slower. Plus at a high FS it is kind of choppy. It still is good to have though as it runs some stuff that LJ won't.

Okay, here is my first impression:

* High frameskip, pretty choppy (as already said).
Speedwise, LJGP is still faster. Compatibility-wise, NesterGPd is better.

* No filename caching. Took me about 8 minutes to startup and scroll down to Super Mario Bros. 3.

* The menu flickers on right side of BLU+. Also, if the filenames are too long (and I have the GOOD Names), they wrap to the next line - but above the filename of the next rom (which then looks like a total mess).

* Some bugs in File sorting - Ys was before the A... games for me...

Apart from that, good emulator.
The long file menu loading time prevent me from using it though - but this isn't something that could be fixed ;)

Nice update :). Love the background and GUI. Games seem to play a little fast for me (using 166 MHz BLU+). Might be a good idea to hide certain files (can't remember the extensions now) but only show the games in the list.

:)

I think ED meant "it IS something that can be fixed" ;)

think it's looking promising, I'm not into screen stretch mode, so if you put it back to 1:1 mode it runs a bit faster. Hope this turns out good and we good have a worthy replacement for ljgp!

I love this emu, that I found faster than Ljp.. but it's just too fast.. annoying !!

Hey, what's new in the 1.5a version exept the sweet saving system?
I see that this wonderful emu is still running too fast (with river city ransom for example)! exellent emulator, nothing to configure, and almost playable in 16bit mode :D
