Are the sources available?
I you have used GNU Chess, you have to release the sources... at least the chess core.

Two players on the same machine is already implemented. As for the link cable...I would consider it but I just don't know how many people there are around that regularly see another person who owns a gp32, never mind playing linked games.gp32 link cable.
But i think 2 players vs on same machine its ok.
