anything over 166Mhz and it's blank screen time... If I was to mod the voltage do you think I could get near 200Mhz?

Yes you should be able to reach around 180-188mhz, speak to malt he is an expert at modding them.

Nope. 166 Mhz is far enough and 200 could really damage the unit. ;)
Shut up you moron.
What's your problem asshole?!

What did I say you didn't like?!

I just said my opinion, have you got a problem with that?!

This time no one could say I started the hostilities. ;)

My gp32 could only go to 160mhz. Modded it and it goes upto 188mhz now. Well worth it. Nothing went wrong. There hasn't been a documented of overclocking harming your gp32 Drumaster. If you know any different tell us. Only downside is shorter battery life.

Yes, it is cool, but you could f**k up your gp32
Yes I think you're right.

evil_king : It's not because there is no document about this that it is safe to overclockk at 200 Mhz.

The originally cpu frequency of the GP32 is around 66 Mhz, so it could be dangerous, don't you think?!

And maybe it is for the lcd screen.

Nah, there's just some that can clock that high. It's luck really.

Well if you don't want to take any risks, send it off to someone else. Minimum 20mhz increase, probably more. Definately worth it. Will make a big difference soon.

cant we put drummaster in the famous "certified shit talker" group?
and why not change his custom title in something more funny?

i think it is stupid that people would think overclocking is bad
thats like picking 56k of broadband
its just better to overclock higher
if you can't overclock high enough do the mod

No... clocking higher drains batteries much faster, which sucks for a portable, I'd never use 200 or 220, the battery life is just too important for a handheld.

Plus I have no doubts it will wear your system faster.

So you think 200 Mhz is not bad for the GP32?! Ah ah ah, you're so funny Vimacs!

If the gp could o/c at 400 Mhz, you would be the one who would run it at this speed because you're stupid. ;)

For the last time : shut up little boy.
