Maybe Renoise could be something, I really love it and have the full version on my Windows machine. Would love to have it on the OpenPandora.
I don't know if it is even possible, maybe someone else knows?

Renoise is closed-source afaik so we can't port it to Pandora unless the owners of the code do it themselves. Doesn't seem very likely to happen though or I'd be jumping all over the place for it seeing that Renoise has become my music maker of choice on both Windows and Linux (x86).

I recommend trying it.
It's really just a matter of downloading the rootfs and extracting it to SD (ok you need to partition your card properly first, but that's it). When you boot it up you'll be right at home in virtually the same Pandora-customised XFCE environment.
