Hi there! I would like to know your supposed Pandora's use. I use your answers in my bachelor dissertation and gladly share it with all expectant Pandora's users.
Please read my instruction and then add your answer in reply post. Don't discus here. Send me PM and I clarify what You want and add clarification in this post.
Now how to answer this little questionnaire. I prefer to set up fewer options with broader meaning to rather be compromise then blur meaning and make You unsure. I choice 3 main categories and You have 9 points to split between them. In each category are 3 subcategories and You have as much points for them as much You set for their main category. You can set 0 points to any subcategory or even main category. You can omit (sub)category with zero points. Also omit text in parenthesis. Example follow.
Categories (9 points to split) and subcategories (up to main category assigned points to split):
- media player (to play videos, audios, photos)
- personal video (watching yourself)
- personal audio (as walkman or other mp3 player)
- house player (for watching o listening by anybody around)
- game console (to play games)
- simple or logic games (causal gaming)
- emulated systems (computers or consoles, oldies)
- native games (new fancy complex games)
- computer companion (little personal computer)
- internet (web, blog, email, google, wikipedia, IM,... to communicate)
- work/job (remote administration, coding, writing, drawing,... to work)
- personal (reading, learning, painting,... to pleasure)
Example ([acronym="For Your Information"]FYI[/acronym] my own intended Pandora's use):
- 1 media player
- 2 game console
- 1 simple or logic games
- 1 emulated systems
- 6 computer companion
- 3 internet
- 2 work/job
- 1 personal
more explanation:
Questionnaire is about Pandora device itself. Not about work for Pandora, but about intended use of Pandora.
Maybe I simplified it too much, but I like to have general overview instead detailed, long and maybe boring chart (and questionnaire). Oh, and I'm not a gamer, so game subcategories may suck. Try take it by your feeling.
simple or logic games is something you can play on WC, in tram, bus or metro while traveling to work or when waiting for wife front of supermarket. Something You easily drop off even before completing level.
Emulators (in my point of view) are something mainly for raising and replacing another device. So old computers (Atari 800, Atari ST, Amiga, ZX Spectrum,...) and/or TV consoles (NES/SNES, GBA,...)
Quake is much more native complex game, then just emulated platform. Supertux too.
By remote administration, coding I mean programming directly on Pandora, some telnet, ssh and other hacking, but in meaning "to make money". So use Pandora as working tool or for your job.
Other purpose of coding, such as yourself own pleasure, hobby, some system scripting or so, without direct profit fall into personal subcategory.
