List of standard libraries included in the firmware?

Is there a way to find what standard libraries are included in the firmware? and which version of them ?

I checked and ffmpeg seems to be installed, but strangely enough I cannot launch it from the terminal using "ffmpeg" -> any idea why ?

I don't think ffmpeg is installed in the firmware. I compiled it for a pnd. You can grab it from the repo.

Nope, I think that's a gstreamer wrapper? It contains

/usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/libgstpostproc.so

/usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/libgstffmpegscale.so

/usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/libgstffmpeg.so

The ffmpeg binary is available from mcobit's pnd, and it's also available in the get-iplayer pnd - link's in sig - (it's version 1.0., but I only did a straightforward "./configure/make/make install" so it might have less features than mcobit's).
