Is The Screen Protector Removable?

Do anyone of you understand the reasoning behind GPH sold units with the LCD protector separate so that we the user gets to put the finishing touch to it? Not that it was hard or anything, but I found it bizarre. Why they didn't just finish assembly, although the way they assembled LEDs inside the casing (they were not straight up inside) were quite questionable on its own.

I imagine it was so that you couldn't blame them for a huge piece of dust under your screen ;)

too bad i didn't follow my instincts and check the site before assembly, i could've avoided the major freak-out when i thought i scratched up my main screen, lol.

i had to scrape it alot with my thumbnail, then caaaarefully stick a needle parallel to the screen into an itty-bitty raised bubble in the vinyl, tilt the needle upwards as i pushed it along to raise the vinyl, then finally pull it off.

and yeah, after all was said and done... i did the same damn thing. stupid dust.

big question; did anyone else see a double-triangle symbol on their screen? like concentric circles, only triangles instead of circles. it's sitting there in the upper-right quadrant of the LCD, evidently etched into the screen itself. =/

that's why i scratched it up in the first place. >=[

<Yeah... my sreen protector was also so badly scratched I couldn't possibly consider putting it on. (and the scratches were under the paper peel!)>

Woa... Glad I read some of the other posts... didn't know about that clear peel off layer. Sweet it's all cool now. If you are cleaning the surface before hand, a Glasses cleaning cloth works well (and doesn't leave those tiny strands of fluff).
