Mmmmm sounds like DNS problem

open terminal and try

ping www.google.com

if that fails try

ping 8.8.8.8

if that succeeds where google has failed then you need to edit /etc/resolv.conf

I think mousepad is installed by default so just typing

mousepad /etc/resolv.conf should let you edit it

nameserver 8.8.8.8

nameserver 8.8.4.4

these are googles name servers which seem quick and fast for me,

edit:bit better instructions

If pinging www.google.com works then its not your DNS (AFAIK)

built in web browsers are very buggy, id make your 1st stop on the repo and get firefox or chrome(or both :D ) see if they work

sounds wierd to me im guessing no sites work then

Where did you put the PND files?

make a folder in the root of your SD named pandora then inside that menu (if you want them in menu desktop if you want them on desktop)

you cant just launch a PND file from file browser

so make it like sdcard\pandora\menu\chrome.pnd

then open start menu and look in network.

Put the PNDs in...

- the "Desktop" folder if you want them to appear only on the XFCE GUI).

or

- the "Mmenu" folder (if you want them to appear only on the MiniMenu GUI).

or

- the "Menu" folder (if you want them to appear on both XFCE and MiniMenu GUIs).

And as meandu's has already stated, on the root of your SD card make new folders called, "Pandora" and in the Pandora folder make another 3 folders...

Desktop

Mmenu

Menu

The PND files are just in the root of the SD , but ill make some folders like you said and try again ;)

Put the PNDs inside the /Pandora/menu directory of your SD card. Then click on the menu button on the task bar and go to 'network'. PNDs cannot be launched by double clicking on them.

EDIT: Pipped to the post.

Its the way it is set up there is a debate as to wether that is the best way here if you interested as a new user your opinion is valued.

edit: a tip, use folders within /menu as you will soon get lots of PNDs so have like

/pandora/menu/Apps/

/pandora/menu/Emus/

/pandora/menu/Games/

etc

To everyone who is trying to help Mystic! PLEASE KEEP IT SIMPLE...

On the root of SD card = 1 folder called...

Pandora

Inside Pandora folder = 4 folders called...

Appdata (99% of the time you don't need to make/put app folders in this folder, because sh*t automatically appears...unless you're needing to put roms or data files in said app folders)

Desktop (if you want sh*t to appear on the XFCE GUI then put the PNDs in here)

Menu (if you want sh*t to appear on both XFCE and MiniMenu GUIs then put the PNDs in here)

Mmenu (if you want sh*t to appear on the XFCE GUI then put the PNDs in here)

Pandora/Menu/Apps & Emus & Games

Put the PND files in there but nothing is appearing in the network menu... :(

This is more difficult then i thought...i wish they made it simpler XD :p

PS : SONY i will try your idea now.
