DEFCON will be a bit longer before a playable beta's ready. going to work on some optimizing tonight. awesome progress by slaeshjag so far though
One thing you could do is release the binary (without game files) and see if they issue a takedown notice. Not ideal, I know, but if they do contact you, you will then have a channel to say "hey look, I contacted you several times, and didn't answer"I've reached out a few times over forums, twitter, and their contact form. No responses yet.
You sure you lost the email about uplink?

I'm not going to do that just one week after contacting them. If they take long enough for me to finish my todo list for non-beta, I'll think about considering nesnero's option. As long as it's in beta (even if everything's working), I don't want to do a public release unless they contact me with good news. One thing you could do is release the binary (without game files) and see if they issue a takedown notice. Lawyers or not, if I stray from their respect they'll be less likely to extend us anything *beyond* just allowing a binary release.and even if it IS in breach of something introversion would be good blokes about it because they can't afford dickish lawyers.
It explicitly states in their license and their blog post on the subject (and specifically mentions the Pandora in the blog post when talking about it). I'm going to respect their wishes wrt talking to them before release.
We also know Linux users love tinkering with the source code so we’ve decided to release that as well for all our games. We can’t grant the right to release versions of the games on other platforms because this is something that we want to do ourselves, but if this is something you’re really keen to do, drop us a line and we’ll see if we can sort something out. For instance If you show us a working Pandora version we’re not going to stop you launching, but we’ll need to have a conversation first. We’re tackling all the IOS versions ourselves though, so we won’t be granting licenses for this
