First of all, Every time you start your 'clock' app you must set the time. That's because gp32 doesn't have any internal batteries (I think :rolleyes: ).
Darkfader has a clock app here (look near the bottom of the page). There's also instructions on how to keep the clock running, but it will drain your batteries.
It might perhaps work if you set the gp32's cpu clock to about 1mhz, and turn off the screen. Then, maybe the batteries won't run out. When you press, let's say Select + Start, it will fire up again and show the time
