Attached is a hacked .gpe file for the superb spectrum emulator that enables it to work under cramfs (thanks theoddbot ;) ) Instead of creating a directory /mnt/tmp and using that for storage, it creates in /tmp/tmp and uses that. Hopefully Hermes can update the "real" emulator at some point so it doesn't use the NAND for storage?

Cheers

Thanks for the info. I don't use (or understand) cramfs but I didn't realise GP2XPectrum was doing this. This is my most used application (along with Tilematch) so I hope the normal version is changed at some point too.

So /tmp can be written to even when the NAND is read-only?

I believe the /tmp directory is redirected to the SD for the read only firmware.

Incidently, you can make a similar change to GP2XEngine to make it work with cramFS.

Cheers,
Spadger
