Excellent emu, plays almost everything I have thrown at it.

Only problem is a lack of frame skip, even at 200MHz it seems to be running at about 90% full speed. None the less excellent work.

Is there any sound?

it seems like the joystick is way too sensitive in the rom selector but it played everything very well! Now we just need save states......

EDIT: could someone recommend the best games for the PC-engine? I really like the space shooters I have for it (and would love more) but would also like to find some other genres for it....

Gonna try it now!!

Gonna compare to Kalemsoft's DreamEngine(Best) and LJZ/LJP for Zodiac..........

From what I've heard, DreamEngine isn't half the emu that Hu-Go is, and if GP2XEngine is based on GPEngine, then it should be based on Hu-Go.

I'll give this a try when I get home, I've been looking forward to this.

All the Bonk's are great. They are the TG16's Mario/Sonic.
I have the Bonk's games but i don't really like them  The character moves very slowly in them....

Right: it takes sometimes a moment to get the desired game because of the fast scrolling games list (or I should simply reduce my 95 games folder ... :))

Soldier blade: Shoot 'em up
Shinobi, Ninjia scroll: Action
Chase HQ: driving
Demon crush: Pinball

Then have fun chosing ;)

Don't forget Final Lap Twin for those who enjoy a good RPG / Bad racing game ;)

Also worthy of Note:

Blazing Lazers (good shooter)
Foreman Boxing
Jackie Chan's Action Kung-FU

hmhmmmm PCengine was what i played the most on GP32, because being the fastest emu , i have great expectations on the GP2X versions :D

let's try this one! :]

Perfect @200mhz:

Gradius(1:1 Arcade Classic!)
LifeForce aka. Salamander(same as with gradius)
Image Fight(Irem Classic)
Mr. Heli(Irem Classic)
Outrun
Raiden1(Classic of Classics)
Coryoon(great shooter, cute graphics)
Magical Chase(cute, great)
Parodius(cute, great)
Twinbee(see coryoon ^^)
Paranoia
Blazing Lazers aka Gunhed(outstanding -and not working after you beat the first boss :()
Final Blaster
Download(very nice game)
Darius Plus
Turrican
Sidearms
Galaga 90
R-Type 1+2
Columns(my favorite version)
Bomberman
Areo Blaster
Adventure Island
Alien Crush(great pinball game)
Armed F

So far that's what I tested and worked almost at 100% most of the time :D

Great emu!

hmmm tried, some bad things :

1/ doesn't go over 200Mhz,
2/ cancels the overcklocking and LCD timing! :/
3/ rom selection is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too sensitive, i can't manage to chose one precise rom, always needs 5 or 6 attempts :p
and 4/ diagonal issues with some games, quite problematic with tricky kick for example, but not with galaga who doesn't care of diagonals

except these setting-related things and a few little compatibility issues it's all good :D
