Game.com: P.o.s. That I Would Like

I own both the original Game.com and Game.com Pocket Pro.

Heres a tip: disabling the sound ( via the hardware button ) will speed things up. And its not like you'd ever want to listen to it anyway.

The only game with any integrity on the system is William's Arcade Classics ( Lights Out! doesn't count, you can get the original for $5 on the clearance rack ).

it looks like it graphically blew the original GB out of the water... and it's processor is more than twice as powerful as a GBA's too (not that that means anything)

I certainly wouldn't mind having an emulator of it :) The problem is, where would you ever find ROMS?

EDIT: Whoops! No remote linking I guess...
If we really want an emulator of an obscure handheld I would MUCH rather have an Atari Lynx emu that is playable than Game.com. The Lynx actually had alot of games and many were pretty good. I remember Rygar on it looked much better than the NES version.

Only the original game.com has a "sound" button to turn the sound on and off. I just tried Sonic Jam on my original with the sound muted. No speed difference at all. Just as slow.

I think you probably just convinced yourself it helped the speed, lol.

Long forgotten is the game.com, While this might be a stupid question, I was wondering if the game.com had any emulators being developed for it as of now? I know nothing about it, but for a newb coder it probably would not be that hard to do. Anyone know?
I seem to remember that the main reason why there is still no Game.com emulator is not because most games are bad but because the game.com hardware is largly undocumented and uses a (non standard) CPU that also incorporates some of the BIOS functions (or something like that, search the web).

So emulating the Game.COM is going to be very time consuming and with what result? An emulator that nobody uses because of the bad games?
