it's irrelevant if the cpu-speed is 266mhz or 280mhz ... better ram-timings will provide a speedboost for both clocksettings.

The timings only affect the RAM ... i don't know if this benchmark is a havy RAM-user ... if not, there can not be any big speed gain, 'cause there is no RAM-bottleneck.
That's the reason why gngeo should benefit relatively well, because gngeo uses the whole RAM.
