Hi,

I got the freelauncher working and have had fun with NESter, but I have heard good things about Little John and want to try that one out, but the freelauncher won't find it.

Next, VCS32 will black out once I select a ROM.

Finally, GenesisMu gives me a black screen with a flickering orange line when I start it. I would use fGen, but I wasn't around when it was released :(

Any suggestions welcome and appreciated.

Helo you could try with giga drive 0.23. And be sure to place the files and the rom folders in the right places. Most of it should be placed in the GPMM folder, but it's normaly written in the readme files.

Hey spongey

Use little john 0.21 its the best version :) the newer version seems to just be under full speed.

Vcs32 isn't that great of emulator it has problems with alot of games.

Also VCS32 doesn't support zips so make sure you unzip the files.

VCS was a old Pc emu that didnt have great compatiabilty and wasn't really finished. But still its the only 2600 emu :)

So make sure its in the right directory

make sure its not in a zip file

any more problems just reply back :)

@ Claus: I've tried that, all ROMs are in the /GPMM/Genesis/ directory as said in the readme, but I start it up, choose the .. folder, and the screen goes black with some clicking sounds. I know it's not an overclocking problem because I am using the 133MHz version

Hey, ummm, Ninster or Ninney, or... I dunno

I tried that version of little john and couldn't be happier. :D

As for 2600 emulation, I think I'll wait until it gets a little better.

i find gigadrive the best megadrive emu, and i advise trying pc engine emulation(GPengine) to, the games are not too far from megadrive standards and run at full speed with sound and has some classic games. as for that orange line it sounds like the roms werent in the right directory or they were still zipped.

Well, I looked a little more at the Genesis problem, and it turned out I didn't have any ROMs in the folder. I think that ocurred because I misspelled genesis when I put in the folder name, and the link host doesn't let me rename folders, so I deleted the folder and forgot to put the files back in.
