This thing sells for around 150-200 US Dollars depending on where you buy it. Please don't try to call this thing a game system, it is a MID/Tablet type device yes it has a DPAD and Android does have a decent set of games/emulators. This device can do 1080p video playback pretty well in fact. It does USB host through a built in port and it also does hdmi output through mini hdmi. It runs on Android 2.1 with a customized software skin. It has an 800mhz telechips ARM11 processor and 256mb of ram. The most interesting part of the device is that it has 5 800x480 inch screen like the Dell Streak or Archos 5, I like 5 inches because it is the biggest screen size for a device that can comfortably fit in a pocket. I also like how the screen is resistive. It has wifi and can do 3g through a USB adapter.

have you looked at the new archos line? They have learned from their mistakes and the 2nd generation MID from a respectable manufacturer. I'd suggest looking at this line first before sinking your teeth into some of those questionable android mids

archos 28 is 2.8 inch $98

archos 32 is 3.2 inch $150

archos 7 is a 7 inch $170

http://www.amazon.co...90641101&sr=8-1

archos 101 is a 10.1 inch $300

there's also the midnite line I'd also highly reccomend if you are going for the cheap and you don't mind resistive touch screen

I looked at the new Archos line and it looks alright, but they don't have physical navigation keys, there is no 4.8inch or 5inch version, and they have non user replaceable batteries. I would get the Dell Streak but it is too expensive. 4.3 inch is usable but not as good as 5 inch and 7 inch is very readable but not a portable and pocketable as 5 inch. I just wish there were more good 5 inch Mids out there.

ahh gotcha, didn't realize it was that particular size and the physical button you were going for, I just thought it was the price point and the MID and android that you were after

I'm a fan of the 5 inch form factor, this just happens to be one of the few good 5 inch mids. I have considered the Viliv devices but there very expensive.
