As a clamshell, you could just set it on a table and adjust it to your viewing angle.
This frees up your hands for any other 'activities' as well...

If you don't understand it, just ask, but the main idea is that the screen can be slid upwards away from the bottom, when the clamshell is open, and rotated. then it is slid back down so that the screen is now facing outwards when closed again.
Maybe someone who understands it better would be able to make a better mockup.
