similarly, we are only aware of time because someone told us what it was
there are tiny invisible things called 'bacteria' that cause diseases... someone told me that once...

Yes and when moving at the speed of light, a year to That person moving that fast is a light year to a person that is moving in normal speed or sitting still.a light year is a light year no matter how fast we're travelling...
it's a unit of distance... it's how far a beam of light would travel in a year... about 9,500,000,000,000 kilometres...
nothing mystical about that... :rolleyes:
point 2: any calculation involving movement involves 2 factors: distance and time...us revolving around the sun
you don't need time to explain that
if existance was never born and it will never die then then time is irelevent

Average speed = distance in metres x difference in time (seconds)
All the calculatins involve the passing of time rather then time itself as a generalisation.

Year=365
lightyear=two things (1)measurement of speed and such, And (2) equals one year it takes a person going at the speed of light .
Time doesnt physically exist for us to manipulate so how can we go back/forward into time?
Does it?If that's true then how come gravity distorts time?
