Discussion about the name Hitler

is Adolf realy a name whit a bad

Adolf Hitler, has used Thethcreem, should whe end to use thethcreem..?

I hate this guy, i hate all nazis,

but if i see a guy named adolf, i dont want to hate him, expekt he is a real asshole..
I see your point, but what is thethcreem?

Anyway, it's an interesting discussion - are there any other names that have disappeared under similar circumstances? I don't know how popular the name "Adolf" was in Germany before Hitler came to power, but if it was, why haven't others become similarly stigmatized? Of course, Hitler was one of the worst leaders in history, but there are others that come close to (or even surpass) his notoriety - Stalin killed millions of people, and by some estimates even more than Hitler (if you take into account the famines caused by his policies - whether this was deliberate is apparently unclear). No one associates "Joseph" with him today, though. Was it because Stalin was on the winning side of WWII?

Is 'Hitler' still a surname in Germany? How about Adolf as a first name?

I'm assuming 'Hussein' is still perfectly valid in the middle east, weird how they didn't call him 'Hussein' but 'Saddam' in the media. Some sort of disrespect I assume.

I'm guessing Saddam is close to Satan.

I've got good news for you. He's dead so you can stop hating him :p

The corpse in the bunker was for a woman :) anyway, yeah, he's dead, probably buried in argentina...

While I'm not entirely serious, there was actually a DNA test for the corpse and it was a womans corpse/ashes. Some news story

There were a couple of operations aiding nazis fleeing the country. Lots of those cockroaches fled to middle and southamerica. A couple were actually captured in exile. If you want to read up on this, check out the work of the Simon Wiesenthal Center of Israel. Mr. Wiesenthal pretty much spent his life searching for these assholes. The work still continues after his death eventhough I doubt that any actual Nazis are left now. Plenty of neo-nazis and racists left to hunt though SO GET TO IT!!!

My nickname in school war 'Hitler' because my haircut of Zorg from Fifth Element.
