Davec's Joy Cap No Longer Works For Me :(


3 people already reporting the problem in this thread, I wonder how many other people have the problem, or the fact that it may occur in the future after use.

Luckily the joystick component is quite standard on the internet and can be purchased and replaced I think with a little soldering.

GPH had better be carefull, too many returns of gp2x because of various faults will make them go out of business.

This happens with a ton of devices. The problem is, a lot of manufacturers simply solder the headphone jack to the board...i.e. they are using solder as structural support on a component which takes constant abuse. Bad idea but relatively common.
