I downloaded legal music with it: http://www.pornonbeta.com/ . Well, the material is still copyrighted but legal for download.

My 8GB Mysterious Cities of Gold torrent is probably copyrighted, and so is the Euro 2004 match between Czech Republic and Holland (the best one!), but with DVDs of these seemingly not going to happen anytime in the future, I think its "fair use" 'til they appear.

Also is the Abi Titmus / John Leslie video copyrighted :p ?

    I usually get 60-80kbs, sometimes >100.

its slow at first sometimes, but rises after 5 mins or so.

I know plenty of bittorrent sites.

    Suprnova.org for one
    lokitorrent.com
    torrent.youceff.com
    torrentbox.com
    abctorrents.org
    123torrents.com

ps2torrent.com and torrentstation.com for your Playstation needs.

    There.

EDIT: WARNING torrentstation.com has an indecent pop-up. BEWARE

I was researching recently at work the Renaissance and had porn pop ups. I still fail to see the link between artworks in Rome and "Eurobabez"

I used BitTorrent to download the complete OCRemix.org remixes (1 to 1000).
That's legal and very comfortable :)

And you can download scanned manuals from http://www.hqscansorg.org/

Not THAT legal, but not that illegal in my opinion.

I had this problem when I had no upload limit. I was uploading to my limit, and it was throttling my download speed. Set an upload limit but make sure it isn't too low.

It'll just mean that you'll have to leave it open for ages after you've finished downloading.

I always find that my download speed is fastest if I limit my uploads to 5kb/s but then they take about a week to get even with downloads!
