You mean coolest gaming experience ever? Yes. Yes, it was. Not a single bit of that game was rushed. What would have been rush would be them having you fight wave after wave of the same enemy with the same moves and same outcome--with the only result being a longer, crappy game. Shenmue doesn't do that, but that doesn't make it rushed. That entire sequence took an immense amount of time and thought. Linear? And Shenmue Saturn was pretty amazing. Glad it came for the Dreamcast instead, though.
