Yes! Perfect! All we need to do is work out how to fit the Pandy's widescreen view on the DS's screens and we're set!
Classic Team said:Now that's not saying I wouldn't mind seeing DS, Saturn, Dreamcast or PSP Emulation (Heck, we've seen videos of those last two running on a Pandora, so it's been in development in the past) But honestly it's hard to imagine a full speed emulator of these on a Pandora because we aren't even there yet on the hardware the emulators are currently developed for.

That's easy. You just display a scaled down picture of the entire Pandora screen on the DS touchscreen (next to the virtual keyboard and virtual nubs) and use that to pan the upper display.fearofshorts said:Yes! fearofshorts said:Also off topic: Exo, is it true that you have been part of the developement team for Desmume? Nice work, if so. But it still needs a few disabled-by-default speed hacks (yes, hacks. I know it's well optimized) for all of the people out there still using bloody No$GBA.
If you haven't ever worked on it... I just embarrassed myself.
Do you mean that my next new perfect idea to fit DS screens on pandora is worth-less ?Exophase said:I can't wait for when people stop pushing the stupid "how do we fit the two screen" joke because every single time some genius comes around and takes it seriously and thinks he has a brilliant new solution for it.
I can say that my expectation are lower than DaveC's one But I cant see how this will help youExophase said:I wish I knew more exactly what people meant when they said "playable" - although it's probably just what they'd tolerate, which is kind of a meaningless metric without further elaboration.
