As per the title Amiga Games Inc has been bought out by Writers Group. We shall see what games that encompasses.

Here's the Story:  http://www.engadget.com/2013/07/08/amiga-games-acquired/

On a different unrelated note, here's a great video of some great Amiga game sound tracks.  If you go to the Youtube page, you can click on the game you want to hear the soundtrack to  via the links in the description.  Ahh, Thundercats, how I miss you.

Oh dang, that's pretty cheap. $500'000, 300 classic titles, another $500'000 for emulator development, re-release them to app stores for $2 a piece and you make back your money in no time. I wonder if they can be talked into signing a deal with OPT the way Justin did with Apogee.

Most titles were developed by indies back then; how is it this AGI group had hundreds of the rights? Were they a publisher who commissed all these titles?

I'm impressed someone knows who owns this stuff at all.. that era for non-Nintendo/Sega stuff is hard to peg down..

^^^^^^^There may be questions of ownership still regarding some of these titles perhaps. Well if your to believe the guys on amiga.org. Bill mcewen a notorious dodgy dealer sold the rights apparently though one wonders if they were his to sell. These are the same games that came out on blackberry phones recently i think.
