Doesn't this game use a standard 3d engine from id software or something? not sure how feasible a port would be to the gp2x though..
As far as I remember Alice uses the standard Quake 3 engine so it may be possible to alter the now available source code to load the alice files. If Alice uses an altered version of the Q3 engine then this wouldnt be possible.
Either way it's very unlikely we'll see the Q3 engine running well on the 2x so dont get your hopes up
Without any kind of 3d acceleration it'd be extremely slow on the gp2x. Even using just pointsampling for texturing wouldn't be enough to make it run as Q3 engine is very dependant on z-buffer, fillrate and multitexturing. And in Q3 type games level of scene geometry rised to pretty high standard. No more blocky characters plus curved surfaces and other things like volumetric fog...
The gp2x can do decent 3d but not like this.
Look at the Quake1 port - it's running around 10fps and probably after more optimisation and utilising the second core will get to 20fps? And Q1 was made for a software rendering first where Q3 was done only for hardware accelerated opengl.
Perhaps Q2 and Unreal1 level of software 3d graphics could be possible on the gp2x. But beyond these... it's only a lunacy.
