3G dongle works very nicely, Prometheus had success with a MiFi box
edit: ninja'd by the diva herself
My experience is that this depends entirely on your usage patterns. My "MiFi" device has a 1GB-per-month cap, but because I only use it for travelling and emergencies, I usually never get remotely close to this limit.I was also wondering if 2GB a month is not enough? I mean I obviously would not be using it for gaming on the Pandora but surfing the web, how quickly does 2GB run out?
also, many smart phones these days provide a wifi signal from the phone, and there are guides how to tether off the iphone if thats what youre using, but only through USB, i dont think anybody was successful tethering over bluetooth with iphone
I have a Pantec matrix I don't think I can get web on that thing it is over 2 years old.I find that a phone works really good, just get a dataplan for it and thether it via bluetooth. (in case of need charge the phone with the pandora using usb cable) and you've got the perfect mobile browsing, Phone in your pocket pandora on the net!
Don't you think a Mifi box would be faster?you shouldn't have much trouble, i tether both bluetooth and usb to a nokia N80, which is almost 5 years old.
Conversely, I've never tried Bluetooth (it's a technology that serves no purpose in my life, and I am highly unlikely to ever use it with any device  ), so I can't compare either.i never tried a MiFi box, i think Prometheus is a better advisor on that field
honestly, i think they will behave much the same, it will depend on your 3G provider.
They have those too and they are cheaper than Mifi but how do I know if the current version that ATAT has will work on the Pandora or not?i never tried a MiFi box, i think Prometheus is a better advisor on that field

i prefer myself a 3G modem, it drains more battery, but no strings attached

This said, my thinking is also that they're likely more-or-less the same - it just comes down to personal preference and whether the device you're thinking of going with is as flexible as you need it to be*.
I mean one hooked into the back of the PandoraAs long as you have a wireless-N router yes. The Pandora's Wifi is not wireless-N, it has Wifi 802.11b/g.
i can confirm bluetooth pan tether on jailbroken 3g iphone using MYWIalso, many smart phones these days provide a wifi signal from the phone, and there are guides how to tether off the iphone if thats what youre using, but only through USB, i dont think anybody was successful tethering over bluetooth with iphone
Did you mean this one? USB N Device Amazonyes, a Linksys AE1000 N wifi takes full advantages of bandwidth, VNC works nicely, i use it very often
Jey123456 (who ported the specicic driver) seems to get 40-50 megabits out of his connection
