About 2 years ago, when I was working on a robot for a high school robotics competition, I dedicated myself to the project for 6 weeks. An intense build period. When you dedicate yourself to a project like this, you start to believe that this is the reason you are alive, you put your soul into...
Just flashed B4, seems to be running well.
I was looking at the readme for ZRAM and it seems there is a helper script called zram_stats is this included somewhere with the firmware?
I seem to have a problem with my left nub, after using the nub for a while, I have trouble moving to the right. A nub reset will fix it but then it will screw up again in a few minutes.
The problem is confirmed in the input tester. At first when pushing the nub to the right it will read 32...
Something slightly off topic, can we make the tolerances for XY scrolling on the nubs a bit bigger? I find when i use my thumb to scroll down, i will miss the "sweet spot" that will scroll down and I will need to move the nub around at the bottom a bit.
What are the settings for ZRAM at the moment? From using SL4P, ZRAM is awesome, is SuperZaxxon basically using the same settings?
Also, can't wait to see if the Wifi fixes work for me.
I want to flash this tonight, but we will have to see, lots of projects due this week.
Super capacitors have the potential of being great, but right now, they are expensive, heavy and they don't carry much energy. You would need a super capacitor many times (10 - 20) the size of a LiPo battery to provide the same amount of Watt*Hours.
I think it might be a good idea to convert the entire PandoraWiki to an Evopedia archive and either make it easily downloadable or include it with the firmware if it is not too big and use that as the main manual.
Hmm, I seem to get a lot of freezes. I can't seem to complete a whole level without the game freezing up. My overclock should be stable, but I have backed off my clocks a bit.
Don't know if this is a new or old bug, if I plug in my Pandora via USB and then let it auto boot, it will not start charging, I must replug it for it to being charging over USB.
I think the answer is about 3 times more then the system at full idle without flicking the power switch. Notaz said that somewhere. So I guess that's about 50 mA?
I have been thinking about getting something working myself. I have a bluetooth serial module that I would love to get hooked up with my Pandora, but I have not had time to research and play around with it yet. The bluetooth serial board is currently hooked up with my Arduino.
I would actually prefer a LiFePO4 battery for the P2, they can take more abuse but store a little bit less energy when new. However, LiFePO4 batteries will store more energy in the long run.
I have not installed B3 yet, how much ram can you gain with ZRAM before getting diminishing returns. Of course this depends on the compressibility of the data.
Also, is it possible to compress the swap file on an SD card as well? I feel the main problem with SD swap is the throughput, so a...
I think he is wondering if the charge chip itself has a fail safe that will stop charging the battery in case the charging script in the OS fails. Overcharging a LiPo battery is a very dangerous thing.
