I did state that, actually. And I hear a rattling sound when I shake the GP2X--is that indicative of something wrong?
I've charged them a lot, but I don't have any other rechargeables to test it on.
Hi, I've had a GP2X since around the December it was released or so. It's an MK1 running on 2.1.1.
The battery life has been seriously stunted lately.
Some sand (not a whole lot) may have got into the console while I was switching batteries. I've since blown through the area to make sure any...
I upgraded to 2.1.1 from 2.0.0 no problem.
Now I have to get everything as nice as it was before. And I'll check out all the new stuff I missed. PicoDrive, PocketSnes, newer AlexKidd2x, newer MAME, etc.
I almost ran headfirst into it.
Gonna let my Energizer 2500mahs charge up to full capacity first. I hadn't charged them since last year or so and then I did a week or two back.
My 2GB A-Data doesn't seem to work with it anymore. I tried FAT32 with 4k allocation and it doesn't see any files on...
I just picked up my GP2X again. It's a MK1 and I have the 2.0.0 firmware on it.
What should I upgrade to? 2.1.1 or 3.0.0? I haven't been able to find much on this.
I've had mine since December I believe. It's a GP2X 1 second revision.
I was excited when progress was actually happening on the emulators, but now it seems like little to nothing is going on.
SquidgeSNES is dead except small hacks that come and go. It's far from perfect.
GPFCE's author just...
I think I figured out why my SNESGP2X link wasn't working. It had DOS line endings. This link isn't working still, however...

Saving on slot 1 works fine too.
Legend of Mana runs fullspeed 55-75 or so FPS with 10MHz on everything except movies. I wonder how it would fare with sound on?
I seem to get a black screen after loading a game. I've never used the emulator before, so I don't know why this is.
I've tried 200MHz, 266MHz, 275MHz. The game is Legend of Mana in ISO format uncompressed.
Great improvement! I noticed that now the sound doesn't seem to go slower than the video when using the frame limiter, which is really nice.
Thanks, Reesy! Hope you continue to work on it.
I think some of the hotkeys in 0.2 are a bit too difficult to use. When trying to load a state for instance, I'll accidentally change the state and have to cycle through the whole thing just to get back to state 0 where my state probably is.
Same goes for turbo on L. It's way too easy to...
I illegally acquired Legend of Mana (I own the disc, but it probably is too scratched up to prove worthwhile to rip) just for PSX4GP2X after hearing how well it ran. Too bad it's not out yet.
I tried opening a couple ROMs (Wizards and Warriors 2 in GPFCE and Metal Slug 2nd Mission in RACE) with selector and got a white screen hang. I tried to replicate it and had no luck, it just happened twice.
Should I worry about this?
Gnuboy is a great emulator and I appreciate the work K-teto has done with it. Anyway, some things are left to be desired.
The menu is the biggest problem I have with the emulator. It's very confusing to navigate, because rather than getting a linear list with functions, you have to press a...
