Well if the plan actually IS to sell ES chips based P2s by the hundreds and thousands I definitely owe that poster I was blabbing about an apology! My "but what do I know" was sincere however. This selling of ES is a new thing to me and I have to agree that I wouldn't want no part no way no how...
Oh gotcha. As far as I know using ES chips in production is frowned upon because they aren't under warranty (Intel/AMD etc). But looks like you had everything squared away.
My bad I stand corrected. Did you have to notify the buyer that ES samples were used?
Here's more info for my thinking:
Engineers arrested for selling sample CPUs on eBay
Engineering sample CPUs, typically designated by Intel Confidential and ES markings are considered beta versions that...
Bismuth your claim that Craigix's position has been repeatedly bleeding edge remains relevant because the claim is false. It's also relevant because top of the chart or bleeding edge SoC's is but one sub component of the unit and does not indicate that the entirety of the P2 will have this...

Like a battery extender module. A module with an extra battery that attaches below the brain board that trickle charges the resident battery on the brain board is what I'm guessing. If you had two such modules you could just keep one on the charger, then swap as needed...
Yah those infamous grumpy boots always grumping around, causing everyone frustration. It's like occupiers in a foreign country! Boy will we be glad when the last of them leave. It's not like we actually get to donate because of them.
So what are we going to do about this "pre-order"...
Lol! I just wanted to make sure everybody had a chance to post before I chimed in. Although not necessary that microSD slot could be used for wifi or NFC if it were so desired. Storage isn't the only reason to have it, but I admit that storage would be the primary reason most things considered.
Binky that is a most EXCELENT summary and adds greatly to the discussion! Thank you for doing that. I would add that you added a little flavor to what Craigix "stated" however. Looking at it the only areas of disagreement appear to be size and use of microSD so I'm not sure where the problem...
It's easy. Bleeding edge and top of the chart don't mean the same thing. The post you linked from Craigix said the best handheld. There is where your cognitive dissonance lies. Until we know the specs we can relax. Back in the day exophase wondered who would buy a low powered ben nanonote. I...
The screen is detachable so that he can draw on it. I didn't see you say that Kaiser should lose the wacom pen so how do you suggest he use it? Also why would you lose a microSD slot that's on the screen itself leaving your two full SD slots unmolested in the base of the unit? Any argument I...
You guys are being pretty unfair to Craigix. You guys claim he is being short and rude when actually he's being direct. If you don't want to hear what he's trying to say, or want to second guess it constantly based on forum polls and what the deciding community wants, no wonder he tires so...
