Yep, it's true.

I just downl ... erm, acquired the newest GBA version, and man is it slow, cluttered, and boring. The only thing cool about it is that you can set up rules for free parking.

I've played many versions of Monopoly, for many different consoles, and none can touch the NES version; simple, fast, uncluttered gameplay. Yep.

What about the SMS-version? I'm not sure how it compares to the NES-version, but I figure there MUST be some reason why thats the version I keep on my GP32 :D

I guess I have tested both but it must have been a while back.

I hate Monopoly-it takes about 3 hours to set up, then everyone gives up halfway.

Cluedo was far better.

Monopoly is my favorite game. :) Brings back old memoriees.

Anyways I keep the NES version because I can fast forward some parts if it gets too slow with LJ. :)

:p Me and my sis played Monopoly for Nes for hours at a time. We always played against Olie and Penelope.

Now, to hijack this thread in the name of Allah,
Is there any good versions of Risk that have A.I players? For systems emulated, or homebrew on the Gp32. I already know about the Homebrew that is out.

Theres also several pc versions, and a SNES version.
NES is the best emulated one I've tried.
The old, old Win 3.1 pc version is better in my opinion, though.
