OpenSnes9XGP 0.3 WIP

I'd love to see the possibility to (in the brilliant spc player) set a song "timeout" of something like two minutes, and then it plays the next song. That way you won't have to babysit your GP to avoid getting brainwashed ("Oops, that song must have been playing for the half hour").
And, as everybody else says (and rigthly so) brilliant work!

I know you are working on the obvious things like improved speed and better sound already so: I would really like the background color to be black again and I would be very happy if the emu would remember the clock settings.

Huge thanks to you guys, I really love and enjoy your work :)
no!! :) I love how the backgroung colour changes. Its makes the boxed screen seem bigger and removes the obviousness of dust.

One feature I like in Speccyal'K is that if you load a game that you have a save state for, it automatically loads the save state. I would like to see this feature in OpenSNES9xGP, maybe it could be an option - 'Automatically load save state Yes/No'.

The facility to use Game Genie or Action Replay codes would be good. There are some damned impossible games out there on SNES I'd love to finish, but don't have the digital dexterity (esp. on GP32) or finger/eye coordination to complete those games.

A 2nd vote here for confirmation when saving a state, just accidently wiped my Super Mario save :(

Hehe remembered I backed the SM card up yesteday - resored all my saves :D

EXCELLENT EMU, but these fixs seem logical...

1: Make the GUI access buttons bindable to more than one button (I really wish I could use select as a button in some games, and have sayy.... Start+R access the GUI) seems kinda odd to have select bindable but holding it or pressing it changes control schemes or goes into the GUI :p

2: Make a hack or a way to bypass the mario RPG and Kirby's superstar (multi-tap) bug. (I wanted to show off the ability to play mario RPG :( )

3: Lightgun curser support ala ZSNES so we can play shooters, maybe mouse support too... (As a side thought, Mario paint and battleclash portable :D )

Those are the only things I can really think of, hard to improve on an already great emu besides speed and sound. (Maybe changable GUI options ala ZSNES for looks once the key parts of the emu are progressed?)

Another idea, that would be kind of useful...

I've just had an SMC crash (because of GPFM and delteting a file and turning off before finished - you know the drill). And reformatted using win2k (faster - SMCreader stuff); set as FAT. Lo and behold OS9x doesn't work. Or rather, it loads, but says "out of memory" whenever a rom is loaded

It did, however, work fine once I'd re-formatted with PC-Link. The only differences between these, as far as I can remember, is that the Windows format uses 2kb clusters (I think that's the right term), whilst PC-Link uses 8. Any chance of getting it to work with the Win2K formatting, since that is actually more space efficient?

Or was that just a problem I've run into and no-one has has...?

First of all : transparency emulated on a playable way for every roms.
And always wishing for a better graphism as good as Snes9XGP...
Once again, thanks for your work !

A little OT: Does anybody know where the thread about the different control settings for snes emulation is? I searched for it but I can't find it. Thanks.
