Screw movies! Get the new OpenSnes9xGP 0.2!

Anyone who's trying to get a game to work, some wont start without sound enabled, so enable sound in sim mode. I'm not sure, but maybe you can turn sound off after the game is started. I'm not sure.

jesus that was fast. kinda reminds me of ljgp32. one week it was a new project, the next it was the best nes emu around. maybe times just flyin bye cus im not at school, dunno.

Everyone should know that YoYoFr is one of the best coders in the GP32 scene. He's really fast at coding, so I would expect a new version every 2 weeks or so. Unless something bad happens. Yeah. So... rock on YoYoFr.

I don't know if it's just me, but I find frameskip 3 in OpenSnes to be impossible to play with, it's way too choppy, but in Snes9xGP, it was perfectly playable, nowhere near as choppy. Anyone else find this?

I'll tell you what, chrono trigger runs very well clocked at 156 and so does mario world and street fighter turbo isn't half bad!

What can I say? Absolutely stunning :D

I never thought it possible, but I can see a day where some, perhaps many, games will run at FS0 with sound.

If the Queen or one of her representatives are reading these boards, Yoyo and his team deserve knighthoods

Erm...what games are running slowly at FS3? Have you tried scaling back the audio settings? At 11KHz/8bit/mono most games are 85~100% at FS2 @ 166MHz, or FS3 for 150/156MHz. And if you're calling SNES9xGP faster at the same CPU speed, you're crazy. (OK, maybe it's a break-even on a few games, but still...)

Speaking of SF2 Turbo, is there any chance of implementing 2nd-controller support in the near future? I wouldn't mind putting in the 10-star turbo code and dropping the frameskip to FS1, thank you very much. ;)

I think the speed thing is that some people are used to PAL speeds (50fps) and some people NSTC (60fps).

Try mario world with layers 2,3 & 4 disabled with sound on at frame skip 0 and fast sprites enabled. This version is a lot faster than 0.1

Very impressive, want to see how lucky we are? Go check the zodiacgamer board threads on snes emus.

I love how the borders change clolour. When they are just black, the duct tends to annoy me, but with colourful borders everything is good. :)

I'm loving this emu. This emu clocked at 160mhz runs pretty much flawless. GREAT options, great GUI. Alot of games still play pretty much full speed w/ low quality sound like Mario World and Conta III. KEEP up the work Thunderz and and YoYo and everyone else involved. I hadn't used my GP32 in ages. With the new neo geo pocket emulator and SNES emu out I thinkI'll use it more. Many thanks!

Oh..........my......................god......

Great speed and features, And ASM isn't even implemented yet....

This guy could probably outcode the creator and dev team of ZSNES themselves!

This release has already had heaps of (well-deserved) praise thrown at it, but I have to jump in and say that the built-in SPC player is awesome. :D For all the people who've overlooked it while playing their fullspeed Chrono Trigger and Mario World, give it a try!

Mario Kart is freaking amazing! It's so fast! It's fully playable without sound on FS2 at 160mhz! And I think Mario World was running at full speed at FS1 no sound!

Started playing mario kart @ 160mhz, run for 5mins then it crashed and completely wiped my SMC..... great!!! :(

Improvements do look very kool tho.

Erm.. Its great yes but I noticed 2 things
seiken densetsu 3 runs shitty with a lot of gfx bugs, also does R-TYPE 3 but they did run well in the previous version, so..
Anyway, great job *THUMBS UP*
