Hi all - just a quick poll to satisfy my curiosity. Basically, I'm curious how many people have 'lucky' gp32s - i.e. OCable to 166Mhz. I am one of the lucky few, and am wondering how many others there are...

166mhz (Well I can run GPDoom at that speed but Castaway Crashes when I go Over 160mhz <_<) :D

iv gotten the hacked version of Snes9xGP running at 180mhz, without crashing for ages but my batteries die very quickly but playing SmashTv with sound faster that 100% is cool :D

166MHz here.

You can overclock CaSTerway/GP? How did I miss this? How do you go about doing that?

Start up Castaway and start a game, click "start" button on gp32 and go into the "Adjust Configuration" menu and go to "adjust clock speed" and select what speed you want (I use 156mhz or 160mhz when needed) :D :p :)

Also I change the Gamma/Brightness setting to 2 :D

Is there a way to save these settings so I dont have to re do them when I want to play Prince of Persia :D hehe..

Steve-O:

Play prince of persia in os9xgp, it flys!

Don't think there is a way to save castaway config

on mine i can perfectly work at 166Mhz
172 is also possible, but doesn't last for longer than 30 minutes :)
higher than 172 just crashes

150 here only..
but i think i will do robs clockspeed mod...
what was his site again?

theres a mod??? tempting...v tempting...

it does seem like such a lottery with overclocking doesnt it?

daft thing is i sent back my first GP32 due to a faulty usb cable and i wonder to this day how much more i could have overclocked that one than my current one which does 156 and no more
